Timber construction

In the area of timber construction, we support manufacturers, designers, construction companies and research and industry partners with application-oriented research and development in the assessment and optimisation of timber-based construction products and systems. Working alongside you, we design functional, safe, durable and recyclable solutions for modern construction applications – ranging from materials and process development, through composite and lightweight construction systems, adhesives, surface treatments and protective technologies, to requirements for thermal, moisture, acoustic and anti-fire protection. In addition, we support you with quality assurance, emissions assessment, regulatory requirements, and the transfer of knowledge and expertise.
