On 14 October 2026, the public final event of the European research project EcoReFibre will take place in Hamburg. IHD is participating as a project partner and co-organiser of the event.
The event will focus on EcoReFibre’s key results across the entire wood and fibre recycling value chain: from the supply and sorting of post-consumer wood to fibre recovery and the development of new products made from recycled materials.
In addition, the environmental and economic performance of recycling will be presented, alongside the EcoReFibre Guidebook and Strategic Roadmap. Together with representatives from industry, research and other relevant sectors, the event will provide an opportunity to discuss the potential for strengthening circular approaches to wood and fibre use.
